Individual and Group Therapy for Children, Teenagers & AdultsMelissa Goldstein is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive treatment experience. She graduated from Ithaca College with a BA in Sociology which was followed by an MA in Education from Hofstra University. After realizing that she had a facility for helping people deal with their problems, she attended Adelphi University on Long Island and earned an MSW degree. Ms. Goldstein then began a rewarding career in therapeutic social work helping children suffering from selective mutism. After several years of successful practice, she became licensed as a clinical social worker. She presently treats children, adolescents, college students and adults suffering from various forms of anxiety, OCD, selective mutism, life transitional issues, school refusal, depression, adhd with and without hyperactivity and grief with various forms of therapeutic techniques. After 14 years of practice in New York, Ms. Goldstein has recently relocated to Florida and is accepting new clients.
